Dear brothers and sisters at 7th century generation,

We begin by testifying that there is no ilaah worthy of worship but Allah (Swt) and that his final messenger was the man of men, the leader of leaders, the strategist of strategists, the example of examples, the giant among a nation of giants, Muhammad (Saw).

Everyone knows of the changes we have been working on, and they are now here. We will not drag this on, we will be short insha Allah. SO here, in brief, are the changes.

1) A fresh approach

The approach to managing this massive global community of Muslims (most young) will change. its very hard to pin this down in words; we hope it will be demonstrated by change.

2) A no tolerance to rubbish approach.

We have been intimidated by, and dealt with the arrogance, aloofness and rudeness of people to forumites and to the Admin team for far too long. This will no longer be the case. Read more below.

3) An updated set of rules and policies

Click here to read our new set of rules.

Unlike the past, these will no longer be "theory" - implementation will be to the last letter.

Policies have been arrived at after much discussion and consultation with relevant people. They are not subject to change, but we will allow discussion of them in the feedback section.

4) A fresh new team of Admins and moderators.

Our list of admins and mods can be seen here.

We welcome aboard, with warmth, the following new members to our team:

5) We want your help

This forum cannot be what it once was without the help of members. You can do the following things with and for us:

A) Report threads and users. If you dont know how to use the auto-report option, PLEASE ASK!
B) GIve us sincere Nasiha by pming admins or mods or by starting threads.
C) Making dua that ALlah makes this, once again, the e-hub of Muslim youth worldwide.

If i may re-itterate the need to continuously open new threads for discussion and reading in all sections tro ensure a live and active forum inshallah. The forum is dependant upon all members to ensure an islamic learning environment so lets be active more often. Please display your adab through your posts, just as you'd use adab in real life . Im faily sure alot of people get turned off from discussion when poor adab is being displayed.

Alhamdulillah. A re-assessment of our beloved 7CGen! Nice to see new faces on the admin & mod team, inshaAllah you'll all do an excellent job. It's always important to step back and just see the aims and objectives of such a place, and that inshaAllah we'll maintain the status of being "the e-hub of Muslim youth worldwide". InshaAllah a refresh of our interaction and use of this forum will benefit us all. Best time to start getting active again eh?
