Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh dear forumites

Yes, its been a long time, but all good things take a long time

We WELCOME YOU BACK to the NEW 7CGEN!

ALhamdulillah with the grace and will of ALlah (swt) we have been able to upgrade to a new version and we are sure that you will love it just as much as we do. It might take time getting used to it, but TRUST us when we say that the new version of the forum is highly versatile and well worth the wait.

Why the 3 weeks of downtime? Initially it was because of some unforeseen circumstances and the fact that the forum had become outdated and needed to upgrade our forum software. Over time this developed into a protracted communication with the company that hosts this board, and it turned out an upgrade wasnt quite as easy as 1-2-3.

Anyway, all that is history now and we can look forward to having 7cgen back online. The forum is going to look like a TIME WARP - almost everything is 3 weeks old since that is how long its been down! SO dont let us hold you back - go around, get this place active, post till you drop (if you wish) and lets make this place its usual self insha Allah.

Finally we request you post in the following two topics and give us your feedback. Please keep in mind that there were major issues with the last version and we had to move away from it - the "support" for that version was due to end this june and updates have ended - this means that after this time were we to ever have issues with the forum, our company wouldnt be able to help us! So keep that in mind.

NEW FEATURES will be added to this forum over time, and there are some GREAT ones there too

The forum will also be closed to guests for around a week, so you will need to login to access and view the board.

We would also like to apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused.

BTW is it possible to have a mobile version of the forum suaible for the iPhone and other phones. I have seen a few forums around which are adaptable to mobiles.

I mean a proper skin for the forum to view on mobile. Lofi does not render to screen size.

Alhamdulillah. The new board looks pretty good and sleek. I can just imagine some pretty awesome made themes for this. I am so happy to have 7cgen back. It felt like one of my limbs had been cut off and I couldn't make up my time spent here anywhere else. Alhamdulillah again Alhamdulillah. I think with the explanation given everyone will be understanding. It would have been nice to see an email of why the board went offline, ie. "we are updating the software" if you tried to log in. Cause it was like this once before and cuase it wasn't like this this time round there was utter confusion. Alhamdulillah it is back, it being offline for 3 weeks is out of my mind. NOW TO USE AND ABUSE!
