Antioxidant Rich Smoothie

Ingredients:

Organic baby spinach

1 cup pomegranate juice

1 cup blueberries

1 cup strawberries

1 cup Red Grapes

4 dates



Blend all ingredients together in ice. This will lower your cholesterol and is delicious.

Cholesterol

Besides protecting against cancer and heart disease, red grapes directly help to reduce cholesterol not only because of the pectin content but also due to antioxidants called flavonoids, including resveratrol. Red grape juice help to elevate HDL cholesterol, or good cholesterol, and help keep arteries from clogging, reducing the risk for atherosclerosis.

Make Raisins(dry grapes) at your Home


Raisins are One of the Best Antioxidant-Rich Fruits



Antioxidants provide around-the-clock defenses against free-radical damage to your arteries.



Raisins are dried grapes, an obvious and simple truth. Despite the fact that getting the grapes to turn into raisins requires only one step, it's safe to say that not many people try this process at home. Take advantage of the sun.Cover a wire cooling rack with a paper towel, set freshly washed grapes on top, and covered them with another paper towel. Set the tray outside in the sun and let nature go to work. You may have to weight down your towels, or cover the whole tray with a domed picnic screen to prevent flies from landing on the grapes.

The Grapes dry up more each day, getting sweeter as time passes. It takes about one week to go from grapes to raisins, but the time will vary depending on sunlight and heat. They taste great, especially compared to the majority of pre-packaged raisins, and are a great Quran Food with only a little effort.

10 Almonds and 20 Rasins

Lunch

I small Roast Beef sandwich ( substitute vegetable burger also )

1/2 cup of water melon or cantaloupe



Mid afternoon Snack

1cup Cabbage soup

1 slice of Toast



Dinner

All you want to eat

Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Grapes and Grapefruit

1/2 Banana or a few Dates



Rememeber no food after 6 Pm

30 Minutes of Exercise

4 Ounces of Flavored yogurt.

1/4 cup of milk



Midmorning Snack

1 Small avocado sandwich

20 raw almonds

1 small grapefuit



Dinner

Grilled Zucchini sandwich cooked in Olive oil.

hmm, this combination, the acid of the grapefruit will curdle the milk and some people stomachs may bloat/ache or vomit from this reaction .Grapefruit is also quite acidic to have on an empty stomach, may not suit some people, esp in the morning on an empty stomach.

Purple grapes help prevent the formation of plaque in artery walls.



Grapes contain flavonoids - quercitin and resveratrol - that are most concentrated in the skins, stems, and seeds of grapes rather than their juicy middle sections. These flavonoids have been shown to prevent the oxidation of LDL cholesterol ("bad" cholesterol) that leads to formation of plaque in artery walls. Your arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients from your heart to the rest of your body. A condition called atherosclerosis can result as a result of growing plaque deposits. This condition can cause the arteries to narrow and harden. Clogged arteries in different parts of the body can lead to multiple medical conditions. Flavonoids in grapes can also lower the risk of developing the blood clots that lead to heart attacks.

Foods and Drinks of The Quran Water is maa’ (ءام) in Arabic. It has been mentioned in the Quran over a hundred times. It comes before all other foods and drinks. A few examples:

1- (Remember) when He covered you with a slumber as a security from Him, and He caused water (rain) to descend on you from the sky, to clean you thereby and to remove from you the Rijz (whispering, evil- suggestions, etc.) of Shaitân (Satan), and to strengthen your hearts, and make your feet firm thereby. [8:11]

2- And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. [15:22]

3- He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture; [16:10]

Ladies Three Quran foods for a glowing face

Bananas contain vitamins, minerals, fiber and carbohydrates. They are rich in potassium. They make an excellent face pack especially for dry skin. Add a few drops of olive oil or honey to banana pulp and use as a face pack.

I don't think bananas are mentioned in quran (correct me if i'm wrong) so does it count as a 'Quran food'? Yes of course there is Quran and Sunnah reference to honey and olives so I wont argue with that.

Tomato juice can help fight acne to a cellular level. A glass of tomato juice everyday can help clear your skin. You can even apply raw tomato juice to the affected area and wash it off with warm water later on.
