[Rajiyat al Firdaws]

Bismillah,

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

This initiative will inshallah be very straightforward and won't require too many rules/instructions.

Firstly, each member seeking to join us in this initiative will have to confirm their interest in the respective threads.

A list of names for each group will be posted in a separate thread.

Please note that participating in the poll does not equate confirmation since our polls do not reveal the voters identity.

Hence we ask that you please confirm by specifically stating your interest to participate.

After confirmation, you are requested to vote on a book. All members will be reading the same book.

You will be required to read a set of pages every 2 weeks and made to answer a few questions that will be posted at the end of this period. Answers are to be sent to the 7cgen administrator account.

Each book will have a separate discussion thread wherein members will discuss the contents, share opinions and elaborate with external material if they wish to do so. Please keep in mind that this is an integral part of the initiative and we urge you all to actively take part in the discussions.

Failure to send in your answers after 3 reminders from the moderators (without a reasonable excuse) will result in suspension.

Members seeking to participate with a group that has already commenced with the reading cannot do so and will have to wait for the next group; unless there are 5 members or more. In such a case a separate group will be started. This is to ensure that the former groups' reading is not disrupted and to avoid halting while others are trying to catch up.

Finally, every 6 months the most consistent member in reading and answering the questions will receive a gift on behalf of the forum admins. Three or more choices will be given and the 'winner' will be allowed to select whichever gift suits them best.

The deadline for week 1 is May 2nd which is to read up to page 28. The questions will be pmed to everyone in group 1 on the 1st of May inshaAllah. You will have 3 days to answer the questions and send them back to the 7cgen account.
