Deceiving Flames
I suppose the spark of love is ignited
When innocent souls fall for a sin.
Finding pleasure in forbidden company
A risky road masked in innocent joy begins.
Oh what is happiness when defying your Lord?
It is but only a fleeting delight,
An enchantment which shall perish
Like twilight with the coming of night.
Hours, days, weeks, months and years wasted
Kindling, surging, protecting a dangerous flame.
Deceiving lovers with its overwhelming bliss.
Eventually, they are but casualties of an over-glamorised game .
With no intent to restrain their blossoming passion
They dice in perilous amusements blithely.
Elusively the hearts deeply entangle and entwine
Shackled by love, the hearts are prisoners unconditionally.
Dear prisoner, enraptured by the flames of love,
Love your lover with everything and more.
But consume your love lawfully and unite for life
From this day forth, displease your Lord no more.
