Who is Belal Assaad?
Born in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia, Belal Khodr Assaad was born into a traditional Lebanese family. Attending a local Muslim school in the suburbs of Melbourne, Belal began his Islamic education at a very young age. In 1990, while he was at secondary school, his parents decided to return to Lebanon. Belal seized this opportunity to further his Islamic knowledge by completing a 3 year program in The Sciences of Shariah at Darr Attarbiah Wattaalim. He also successfully completed his secondary schooling at Al-Haddadine Secondary College attaining an International Baccaularete in the process. Belal returned to Melbourne shortly after and completed a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. He also accepted a position as a secondary school teacher at the Islamic Schools of Victoria - Werribee
