i thought it would be interesting to see how many sisters would consider being a 2nd wife as its allowed in islam. if not, why not?

and im asking the bros aswell if they would consider a 2nd wife. if not, why not?

i am trying to add a poll for the sisters, but it didnt work. its an actual poll so that sisters can say it anonimously. waiting for admins help lol!

wow. I actually know loads of sisters who wouldn't mind being a second wife at all. Allah bless them. The way I see it, it is allowed from Allah so alhamdulillah.

i dont knw whether i should say yes or no :S if i get married and suddenly i find out that my husband got married again il probably divorce him, thats just my opinion, I hope this doesnt happen inshAllah, and if a guy proposes to me and hes already married i will reject him coz i dnt think i can stand sharing my husband, i dnt knw whether im commitiing a sin by admitting this but Allahu Alim... il explain later, but now im off to bed :) ma3salama

mahbuba, i dont think its a sin to not want your husband to marry again.

however, if a woman couldnt bare children and her husband wanted to marry again, then its a different story...

i knw muhammed (SAW) had so many wifes n i respect that.
but I personally dn't like SHARING HUSBAND n plus knwing ur husband has another wife on da side not a BIG FAN of that, plus i will get jealous easliy. :icon_smile_lol:

if a man has 2 wifes, he gotta treat them fair n equally n loved, that will b hard on him to do that becoz a wife can get jealous quickly, then there is a BIG problem cuming ahead for da husband. :icon_smile_sign_grrr: lolllzz

if ur his first wife, i heared that he gotta ask ur premission to get married again ( MY answer would b NO) soo yh guy gotta ask da first wifeyyyyy premission.
