PSSSSSTTTT... I think you know nothing about "nusrah" work. (It's understandable if you are not doing dawah in a Majaal). The interaction and culturing part can be done in public but nusrah things (like the above post), theres a feature for that called "PM"!!!

GOLDEN RULE:
If you make "nusrah" things public, then forget about nusrah! Whether it be Caliphate or Cyberphate!

Can everybody or only admins check IP adress?
What's an IP adress?
If I have understood right, is it that you can find out
through someone's post on where he/she live?

only admins can see this and maybe moderators.

IP address

Just take it like say a car plate number or a telephone number.

Not really, in the case of posting on ananymous section, those who see the IP can trace it to the registered member on the forum.

Some IP adresses can be traced to specific countires or service providers, but I dont think people can trace your house adress through it.

yes they find out where you live from your IP address.

but they wont check yours unless you have a serious problem (such as wanting to commit suicide or something), so dont worry.

even if they do find out where the perason lives and that person wants to commit suicide, what are they gonna do?

Those who are residing in nearby locations can assist by meeting up with the individual and talking to them, or advising through other mediums phone/msn etc...at the end of the day, our job is to watch over the forum, anything other than that is an individual task and not related to forum duties.
